One Voice

One Voice Movement provided an amazing preparation for our trip this week.  I went to the session in Dearborn at Mother of the Savior Lutheran Church, an Arabic speaking congregation led by Pastor Rani Abdulmasih.  One Voice coordinator Shainia Low introduced its mission and let Ahmad Bakri and Chen Pundak tell their stories.  Everyone was then invited to share their experiences and hopes for peace.  The Interfaith leadership in Dearborn and the Detroit area has a deep commitment to activism for creating alliances which resonate the hope for future peace that the One Voice Movement champions. We closed with prayer in Hebrew, Arabic and English.  Stories of Palestinians and Israelis are shared on   One Voice Movement

Interfaith leaders who hosted the One Voice Movement visit Brenda Rosenberg,Pastor Rani and a wonderful Imam  whose name I do not know.

Our meeting was very good and I believe this shows from the final picture
of all who were there (but me and another photographer).  I am very thankful that this group focused on how to move ahead in unity, respecting all the difficulties,
but looking forward to a solution.
